Julep's Joy

Hey Guys, Surgery is done and now the long road to recovery begins, the good part is I get to play with all my polishes that have been patiently waiting for some attention.

I want to start to my absolute favorite one at the moment is "Joy" I received Joy in my last Julep monthly box as an add-on so that makes it one of the march colors, I think the color is absolutely perfect for my skin tone. The color makes me think of spring and I will try to add some dots or stripes to it later with a new mani to make it more spring like =)

Opal Nails

Hey guys, sorry I have been away for a bit but I am actually getting ready to have surgery on March 22nd and have had all kinds of appointments, and working so I haven't had much time to blog, although after I have my surgery I will have all kinds of time to blog and do my nails as I will be off work for a couple of months =)
Anyways onto this look, I love the subtle and fairly neutral look of these polishes but you still have that glitter and glow I love!!!! I also think this would make a very lovely wedding mani <3
I used Julep's Melissa which is a really beautiful opal and changes color in the light, it does give off a bit of a green depending on the lighting and I covered it with Revlon's MoonCandy which was sent to me by Revlon amongst others to review it is a really beautiful clear base with irredescent Purplish and blueish glow, these two polishes go lovely together and compliment each other so nicely.
Let me know what you think, I love to hear from you all, And have a GREAT day.

Stamping First attempt

Hey all, sorry for the delay in posting but I have an interesting project that I tried out, Stamping....Have any of ya's tried it? I watched ALOT of videos on YouTube before I even attempted it I found it quite intimidating but it all worked out pretty nice, I bought a Konad stamping kit but I used my own polishes, actually I used Julep polishes for this look, the base coat Is Julep's Laura and the stamping was done with Sienna, I love how the gold compliments the green of Laura. What do you all think? Let me know, I'd love to hear from ya.

Jelly Sammich

Hey guys sorry I missed Nail Friday but I had a lot going on, so here is better late than never, this is my third attempt at a Jelly Sandwich and I am really loving the results the polishes I used were Mindy and O'Canada from Julep, I have been looking for a good use of O'Canada since it is pretty sparse for a glitter and I am generally not a big fan of that since when I use glitter I want it full force =) Hope you guys like this as much as I do, I think it is a nice spin on neutral, cya's soon

Nail Friday

Hey guys I recently made a big haul purchase of China Glaze polishes and so naturally had to do a nail friday with some of them, the first color I used is Rare & Radiant, then I added accent nails with Razzle me Dazzel me.
I really love the chrome and the added glitter surprise the gold goes so well with the green and when you turn or move your hands it picks up any surrounding colors, hence the red it is picking up from my housecoat since I am still not dressed and it is noon lol.
I hope you fall in love with colors as I did =)

Nail Friday

Hey everyone, I have decided to make this blog totally dedicated to my obsession with everything nails =) I am far from perfect and in no means a professional at doing nails, I just love doing it and could talk all day long about nail polish!!
My first entry will be my mani I did today using all Julep's polishes, the polishes I used were Lily as a base then I used Chelsea and Barbara as an accent nail. I really love the girly pink sparkle and find myself gazing at my nails, when the sunlight hits them the sparkle is incredible.
Have you used any of these colors? What do you think? I'd love to hear from you, please leave some comments below or maybe some suggestions and requests =)
Thanks for stopping by
